Opened in 2007, our Venetian Estate pays homage to our family’s Venetian heritage dating back to 1150. Designed as a cathedral-like structure rising from the original Rutherford vineyard purchased by Dave and Yolanda in 1988, the Estate reflects a legacy rooted in both history and vision.

Inspired by the Venetian desire to live in a beautiful world, the architecture and cave are unlike any other property in Napa Valley. A long, marble and stone-lined corridor stretches beneath the estate, illuminated by chandeliers, and framed by rows of aging oak barrels.

We believe wine is liquid art. Within this setting, guests are immersed in our signature barrel tasting experience, sampling wines directly from the barrel while discovering how barrel, time, and craftsmanship shape each expression.

Cave Experience & Barrel Tasting

This is the experience that has defined Del Dotto for decades.

Guests are welcomed with a pour of white or sparkling wine before descending into our marble and stone-lined cave. Inside, red wines are sampled directly from the barrel -showcasing how oak from the great forests of the world influences structure, texture, and flavor.

$2,500 minimum wine purchase per couple or household | Maximum party size: 6

Designed for serious collectors, this elevated private tasting includes access to limited-production and VIP member-only selections from both barrel and bottle. Many wines featured are highly allocated and represent some of the finest expressions we produce.
